A respected scientist at ICAR–DMR, Solan, He specializes in mushroom pathology, cultivation, and crop protection. He has served as Secretary of the Mushroom Society of India and contributed extensively to R&D on both common and exotic mushrooms. He led the pioneering ICAR–DMR project that achieved India’s first artificial cultivation of Morchella (Gucchi) — a milestone in Indian mushroom research.
